The Path Of Life

The Path Of Life

Psalms 25:4-5 – Shew me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths. Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.

Dearest Friends – Did you know that the three main enemies to faith are unbelief, facts and reason? If we are standing in faith, believing for the greatest breakthrough in our lives, and God tarries in the situation, it often leads to doubt and unbelief.  We may stand believing for a season, but ultimately will fail and fall away if not rooted and grounded in our faith in God, and our unwavering trust in His love and care of us. We must wait patiently for Him in every situation. His way will always serve us best.

Similarly, you may receive a bad report from the doctor that may cause you great fear and concern. You may have received devastating news concerning your children or your job. Beloved, these are truly  facts in black and white but what does God have to say about these problems and circumstances? He is in complete  control with total awareness and does not consider any predicament we may find ourselves in too difficult. One word from Him and situations and lives are gloriously changed in an instant. One crumb from the Master’s table will be a feast in times of famine.

So what does scripture say about sickness and sorrow? What does scripture say about iniquities and transgressions, our sins and our failures? Scripture says in Isaiah 53:4-5- Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. 5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. Yes, dear friends, on the cross He bore it all for us. Nothing was overlooked. So today stand in faith. To receive Him fully into our hearts and lives is a setup for a glorious life. Scripture says man chooses his path but the Lord directs his steps (Proverbs 16:9). I don’t know about you, but I want every step I take ordered by my God. I want to venture out each day in confidence, being all I can be in Christ Jesus, knowing God is ordering every step, giving His angels charge over us lest we fall.  And yes, if we fall, where is God then? He is right there to pick us up, dust us off, give us a big hug, send us right back out. Our failures and shortcomings do not deter His love and care of His children.

Precious ones, we can reason things out all day every day and never come to a peaceful solution or maintain a healthy body. For reasoning in a sense has torment in that it falls short of what is really needed. In reasoning as to why one is ill, why there is such adversity in life, and so much suffering in the world around us, in our humanness we fall short of an adequate answer. But faith transcends reason. Godly faith, complete and total abandonment of doubt and despair, absolutely standing in faith for a miracle or positive change in circumstances, forgiveness that is complete and truly sets the soul  free, this is overcoming faith. Overcoming faith is standing our ground and not letting anything negative be spoken out of our mouths in spite of how things may look in the natural. For ultimately our help comes from the Lord, maker of heaven and earth, and nothing is too  difficult for our God.

If we believe truly that our help comes from the Lord and Him alone, then despite a possible evil report of any kind in your life or the lives of your family and loved ones,  we can know that with God all things are possible.  Dear ones, if God be for us, who can be against  us? The path  God chooses for us is a path of victorious living, a path that leads us deeper and deeper into the things of God until the things of this world that we once thought were so needful and important somehow just fall and fade away.

The peace and comfort God sends into our lives will far outweigh the work and worry we put ourselves through trying to figure every thing out. We can choose the best options from our list of choices, and run with that at times, never stopping to consider that if it is not the path God has chosen for us, it will basically be unfruitful and unproductive, and worst of all it will not be fulfilling.  If what you choose in life is not fulfilling to you and you find you are unable to produce spiritual fruit in any way, let God take control of your situation. The fruit of the Holy Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Got fruit? If not then humble yourself under His mighty hand and in due time He will lift you up. For He came that we might have life and have it more abundantly. He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we could ask or think. There is no limit to His love, peace, joy, provision, and help. And He is there to help when the enemy is too strong for you.

My dear friends – take a leap of faith today. If your life is lacking and miserable, ask God to direct your steps. In total submission to His will, allowing Him to love you and lead you in a letting-go kind of way you might have avoided for the most part, you will see a greater purpose in your life, a higher calling, and most definitely provision for the journey, for where God guides, God provides.

These words of inspiration are to reiterate that life is is a journey with God, a walk of faith for a lifetime, sticking with Him through the good times and bad times, just looking for and hastening to His glorious appearing when we can thank Him personally for bringing us home safe. This journey will have it’s trials and tests, it’s hard times and dark times, but if the Light of God lives in your heart, you’ll never have to lose your way or feel alone again.

If you don’t know this Jesus, take a moment and ask Him into your heart. Turn from your old broken down path that has taken you nowhere, and the works of the flesh that have so worn you out. This is called repentance. For  He’s got a gloriously victorious plan for your life, richly fulfilling, and by faith in Jesus, a new life can be yours today. Consider the path you are on today. Has your spiritual journey been fulfilling or disappointing.  Is it leading to life or destruction? Which path will you choose? God is just a prayer away.

In His Love,

Words Of Inspiration | On Hopelessness and Despair

The Desert Shall Rejoice and Blossom

Isaiah 35:1-2a – The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose. It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing…

Dearest Friends – These words of inspiration are to bless you today with a renewed hope in Christ. The words of encouragement are to motivate you to reach out to the loving and secure arms of God and allow His love and great grace to minister to you and renew your strength this day. If  you are in a desert place in life rejoice, for with God that desert place shall blossom as the rose. If you are in despair, turn your heart toward heaven and call on God. In Isaiah 33:2b God’s word proclaims He will be our arm every morning, our salvation also in the time of trouble. Beloved, He will strengthen your weak hands and make firm your feeble knees (Isaiah 35:3). In the natural you may not feel the ability to stand in your circumstances. Your heart may be fearful in your desert place with much sorrow and sighing, but believe today that our God will come and save you. When His Spirit is poured out upon you your wilderness will become a fruitful field and the fruitful field counted as a forest (Isaiah 32:15b).

If you are feeling hopelessness and overwhelmed by despair, from my heart to yours, I stand in the gap for you and with you in your negative circumstances. My prayer is that these words of inspiration will reveal the truth of God’s great goodness and willingness to intervene on our behalf, and that you would come to know of a certainty that you can find grace to help in time of need through Jesus, our Lord.

Dear ones, it is always my intention to encourage and inspire, but to have an intimate relationship with God through Jesus, to know Him and allow His glory to shine through us, is a personal commitment, a personal choice each of us must ultimately make in life. I can only share the depths of  pain in and of my own life’s experiences with hopelessness and despair, and with what great grace He brought me out into the glorious light of His Love. It is a process, and a process that is often not without pain. For when we submit to God and allow Him to refine us and burn away all that is of no use to us in our love walk with him, this is often uncomfortable at best and perhaps painful at the very least.

There are moments of instant deliverance in circumstances. There are times a word comes from God, a rhema word, a fresh word from heaven, that changes everything and turns a bad situation into a glorious experience quite instantaneously. And I praise God for these “instant” moments of deliverance. But I know too that the greater the suffering, the greater the blessing. And for me it has been my experience that the greater the suffering, the greater the blessing; the greater the suffering, the sweeter the writing. So allow God to ransom you, obtain joy and gladness through Jesus today, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away (Isaiah 35:10b).

In His Love And God Bless Each Of You!

Words Of Inspiration/Honoring One Another

To Honor Your Brother Is To Honor God

Philippians 2:3 - Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.

Dear Ones – In today’s world it seems it’s every man for himself. Few people stop to evaluate how important it is to actually consider another person’s feelings before we speak or act in any given situation. So many times we are in such a rush, we are so hard pressed to get ahead in our own life, we fail to take note of what we might be doing to achieve our goals. If you are thinking only of yourself in the workplace and what you can do to succeed, you are at risk of offending another. If you feel you always have to win an argument or be the decisive winner in a confrontation, you often times lose the love and respect of those around you. Giving offence means to hurt someone’s feelings and taking offence means having your own feelings hurt, neither of which are productive in a faith-filled life. God’s word says to give no offence and to take no offence. In order to do this we must always consider other people’s feelings as more important than our own. That is not to say that our feelings are not important, of course they are, but to avoid strife and trying to make ourselves look better to get ahead is certainly the road less traveled in today’s society, but the road to honor if we choose it.

When your life is resting in God’s care, when you are patiently trusting Him to lead you and provide for you, there is not as much push and shove in the workplace or in your relationships. Perhaps someone got the promotion you were in line for. Not to worry, God may have something in mind for you for which you are better suited, or perhaps you are not as ready for it as you felt you were. God is always working behind the scenes in our lives, doing for us what we can’t do for ourselves, and bringing us to His desired haven where our gifts and talents can be put to the utmost use, both to bless us and to bless others. A life that is truly lived for God will neither give offence nor take offence. You will not scurry to get ahead at someone else’s expense, and you will not shrink back into inactivity because you feel you were slighted in some way.

It should be mentioned that when we assume people are just basically rude and insensitive it could be they are under pressure and trial in their own lives. It’s possible that they have overwhelming problems in their lives, and to take time to consider this aspect in any given situation allows us to truly focus on remaining calm within ourselves. To do the honorable thing in considering their feelings above our own is truly thankworthy and allows God to bless people through our words and actions. To remain humble and loving is a blessing in itself and God’s word says God resists the proud and gives grace to the humble. If we humble ourselves under the mighty hand of God He will exalt or lift us up in due time (1Peter 5-6). For if we suffer for doing wrong it does not mean much, but if we suffer for doing what’s right and take it patiently, this is acceptable with God and filled with praise, honor and glory.

In His Love And God Bless Each Of You!
